Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) – Session Details

The objective of the ABR® designation is to educate and prepare buyer representatives for the service levels which to develop and sustain their buyer representation business.  This multiple-session live online instructor-led course includes exam preparation and completion in an effort to secure ABR® designation candidate status. For more information about the requirements for the ABR® designation, please refer tohttp://www.rebac.net. This course meets for four sessions starting with a mandatory technical overview. Each session is approximately 3 1/2 hours. Attendance is required at all sessions in order to complete the program.  Students will learn how to properly represent buyers and can apply knowledge to their state’s agency laws. Graduates of the ABR® course will also be members of REBAC® (Real Estate Buyers Agent Council) which includes quarterly audio tapes on relevant industry topics, subscription to The Real Estate Professional magazine, online directory for buyer agent referrals, marketing tools and more. The ABR® designation also counts as a 2-day credit towards your CRS® designation.

This class does not carry CE and is presented through Coldwell Banker University.  Register via CBWorks.

Education Elite Program Policies

  1. Registration is open till 3 days prior to the class, at which point there must be 8 people registered online in order to hold the class
  2. Anyone who registers but does not attend will be invoiced $10 to their agent account.  Exceptions will be case by case and will generally only be considered with true emergency issues.
  3. For Certifications, Designations and CE classes students must attend on time and remain in the class.  Anyone missing more than 10 minutes will not be able to receive credit for the course.  This is a DPOR regulation and not an internal policy.
  4. Classes that carry a fee do so to cover minimal program charges and royalties.  Cancellation and reimbursement requests will be granted up till one week prior to the class.
