Coldwell Banker Identity Requirements
Printed Materials being distributed to consumers, add the following statement:

Specialty Items (freebies/closing gifts/etc): need to use the correct logo with DBA, the Each Office Is Independently Owned And Operated. disclaimer underneath the logo and your name can be printed under all of those in Trebuchet Bold in PMS 280 or black and upper and lowercase. The disclaimer can be omitted if there is a space issue.

The CB Mark is 100% PMS 280 blue or black, or in the 3D format with the letters in white.

CB HOUSE LOGO:
Do not alter the CB House icon, it should never be larger than the logo and DBA info.
Use baseline of blue box and top of “Banker” to make sure the CB House is sized right
CB House logo can be used in seasonal promotions, but you still cannot alter the design of the house in anyway.
PRINT ADS: align CB House with the text and parallel with the corporate logo,.5inches from the border
FB and TWITTER: CB House should be in upper left corner, minimum distance to top of page is .25 inches
Approved Coldwell Banker logo with your DBA must appear on your website.
coldwellbanker.com is always lowercase bold with no spaces, never abbreviate it!
Use the ® symbol the first time Coldwell Banker appears in the body of the piece, Coldwell Banker should be bolded the first time it is mentioned, don’t use the ® when using your DBA name.
If you use a generic URL like fredericksburghomesforsale.com or janesmith.com, you cannot use the words Coldwell Banker in it.
Graphics and images are available from CB Exchange (https://elitescoop.com/resources-exchange-graphics/) but cannot be altered in any way. If you use images that you did not create, you are responsible for securing necessary permission for use on your site.

Realtor is usually followed by the ® symbol but if it’s not available, you can use REALTOR. This definition should appear at the bottom of the first page that the term appears: Realtor is a federally registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of Realtors and subscribes to its strict code of Ethics.
Social Media: the Coldwell Banker logo or name should not be used by itself for your profile photo, profile name, or username.
Only your individual photo can appear on a business card in a head and shoulder format. Photos of other people (unless the other person is a business partner or spouse), animals, buildings, slogans or symbols cannot appear in the photo.
Choose professional clothes and a subtle background that will not clash with the Coldwell Banker Blue logo.

VAR Advertising Regulations
18 VAC 135-20-190 Advertising by licensees
“Advertising” means all forms of representation, promotion, and solicitation disseminated in any manner and by means of communication to consumers for any purpose related to licensed real estate activity.
Print Advertising for Licensees
- Firm Name
- Licensee’s Name
- Must be “clearly and legibly displayed”
Signage (minimum requirements)
- Firm Name
- Firm’s primary or branch office telephone number
- Firm Name
- Licensee’s Name
- Contact Information (phone number or website)
Online Advertising for Licensees
- Licensee’s name
- Firm Name
- The city and state in which the licencee’s place of business is located
Non-Realtor Owned Website (ie, social media accounts):
- Link back to website main page with all required disclosures
The licensee’s main page must be clearly and legibly include all electronic media disclosures listed above. The licensee’s non-main page(s) must clearly and legibly include all electronic media disclosures on each individual only page OR link to those electronic media disclosures on the viewable main page. Therefore, it is critical to include all required disclosures on the firm or licensee main page.

A REALTOR® is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®. The term REALTOR® should never be used as a substitute for “real estate agent.”
The REALTOR® trademarks include:
• the REALTOR® block “R” logo
The REALTOR® marks let people know that you are more than just a real estate practitioner: you adhere to a strict Code of Ethics that protects clients, the public, and other real estate agents.
The preferred form of the term is REALTOR®—in all caps, and using the registered trademark symbol. If using the symbol isn’t possible, then the next best form is in all caps: REALTOR.
The REALTOR® block ‘R’ logo consists of a letter R set in Futura Typeface on a sharply contrasting rectangular background to form a block “R” with the term REALTOR® centered underneath. The rectangular block and the term REALTOR® centered under that block must be the same contrasting color.
In usernames, members are allowed to use the REALTOR® marks only to indicate membership in NAR by using the marks with a member’s name or with the legal name of a member broker’s real estate business.
In usernames, email addresses, and domain names, the REALTOR® marks do not need to be separated from a member’s name or real estate business name with punctuation, as they do elsewhere.
The marks may be used on merchandise such as T-shirts and ball caps, as long as the item includes the member’s name or firm name.
YOU CANNOT USE “REALTOR” ADJACENT TO ANY DESCRIPTIVE WORD!
